Where we’ve come from
The Free Folk Project began with a recent global pause. When the world stopped in 2020, so did the old certainties of work, routines and assumptions about what mattered. That disruption became an invitation rather than a setback: to strip everything back and ask what we really stand for and what was truly important.
That question led our founder, Dear Danny and his family from Belgium to a mountainside in Andalusia, building a home from a bell-tent and a yurt while welcoming a new arrival into the world along the way. In the calm that followed, a moment’s inspiration birthed the idea for two communities, online and on-land, built side by side and moving in the same direction. The Free Folk Project was born.

Where we are
Online we’re actively transmuting technology into a force for good, reaching one another and making real, meaningful connections no matter the distance. Our online community events like MYGA and TruthWorks are offered to motivate, evoke and inspire positive change for all who attend.
On-Land our events are offering opportunities where people can come together, learn from and reconnect with each other and help restore real connection in our communities.
Where we’re heading
Coming soon: The Dear Danny Show podcast, our online and physical marketplace and Veg Heads are just some of the ambitious projects we have planned, among many others on the horizon.
